Atreum Lighting UVA Light Bar, 30W (2-FT) provides 30W of 385nm UVA supplementation in a compact and easy-to-use package. We recommend no more than 2 hours per day of continuous UVA on canopy. however users have reported leaving the UVA for as many as 12 hours with no negative effects. 385nm UVA is generally safe for human exposure. We do recommend sunglasses be worn for prolonged exposure and never stare directly into the diodes. This spectrum is similar to lights used in beds and will generate a defensive response during photosynthesis.
