When it comes to output, there is a considerable difference between the regular Lumenator and the Lumenator 2x.
What's the difference between the Lumenator 2x and the Lumenator?
The 2x uses two optical lenses. This results in a more concentrated beam of light, doubling lux intensity. This means much higher PAR values, but a more narrow beam of light. In order to get the same coverage, and to avoid burning the plants, you will need to back the light further away from the plants.
If you have enough space (minimum of 16 inches for flowering and at least 6 inches more for vegging), we definitely recommend the 2x version. If your ceiling is not high enough, then you want the regular Lumenator.
